Guadalajara's cathedral

The Guadalajara Cathedral, or Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary Most Holy, is a cathedral of Mexico, parish headquarters of the archdiocese of Guadalajara and one of the most representative buildings in the city, for its neo-Gothic spiers and for its beautiful history.

Guadalajara Zoo

The Guadalajara Zoo is the main metropolitan zoo in the city of Guadalajara, it is located in Paseo del zoológico 600 at the height of Calzada Independencia Norte east of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area in the municipality of Guadalajara, it is considered one of the most important and largest in the country for their number of species.

It has the following attractions

Herpetary: This is the largest Herpetary in all of Latin America. Its residents include lizards, turtles, crocodiles, snakes, and vipers.

Aviaries: They are two huge steel pyramids that house tropical birds in a controlled environment, you can enter the pyramids to appreciate birds better.

Rain Forest: This exhibition houses jaguars, chimpanzees, orangutans, tapirs, anteaters, etc.

Masai Mara Safari: This is one of the newest attractions. It includes animals from the African savanna such as giraffes, zebras, buffalo, various species of antelopes, flamingos, cheetahs and white rhinos. Visitors can take the tour in a specialized vehicle while a guide characterized by a member of the Masai Tribe, gives information about the animals and some customs.

Australian Village: This is an attraction dedicated only to the fauna of that continent. It houses red kangaroos, and other Australian species. It has been the temporary home of koalas twice.

Aquarium: This attraction is home to 95 species of fish, plus sharks, stingrays and jellyfish.

Antarctica: This attraction houses specimens of the Adelie and Gentoo species that are animals that inhabit the coldest part of Antarctica for which a space with the correct conditions had to be adapted for these birds to develop in an environment that is most similar to natural. The public will appreciate the low temperatures, as well as feel how cold an ice floe is.

Michin Aquarium

In it there are more than 150 representative species of the Mexican Republic, as well as various species of the world, such as blacktip sharks, northern sharks, bull sharks, among others
